The on-going campaign of vast vaccination might be one of the biggest concerns for Nantong residents recently.
Though according to official statistics over 100 million doses had been taken,it’s all natural that some people remain reluctant about getting vaccinated. With the clinical test just over a relatively short timespan, worries about the side effect still somewhat exist though seem declining. And people may think they can just stay unvaccinated and safe if most people have been injected. The vaccination are getting more common, would this move be on a mandatory or voluntary basis? Vaccination is regarded as both rights and obligation for citizens. After suffering the pandemic so long, a strong promising solution finally shed a bright light at the end of the dark tunnel. However, quoting some experts’ words, we’d better see it as a beginning rather than an end in terminating the virus.
Generally based on voluntary choice, it encourages every person to be vaccinated if his/her condition permits. Our nation proves to have sincerely tried its best to lift its people out of compromised living then bring the economy back to track.
All expense of vaccine and medical service are guaranteed to be covered by public fund for Chinese citizens, eligible individual who apply for vaccination should not be deprived of the it. The authority ought to and already have alerted clearly about the possible side effect and symptoms probably experienced afterward. More so people with illnesses not fit for the vaccination have to be notified beforehand. The employees in businesses not within the category of high infection risk are supposed to make their own decision whether they receive vaccination or not, so their employers stand not in the position to force them into vaccination and the enterprises to illegally fire these people for not being vaccinated need to compensate them with a severance pay.
Each one can wait on the site for 30 minutes under observation after vaccination, any vaccine-related sickness could be treated by the medical staff there in the first place.
People working in public institutions are expected to lead in the taking vaccine to set an example for others. Basically not until 80% of whole population have been vaccinated, can we secure herd immunity. It’s unfair for efforts of people injected to be wasted by those failing to take it. Staff from workplaces with a nature easy to spread virus or under crowd-intensive environment need vaccinating, such as food cold-chain, quarantine inspection of imported goods, airline crew and of course medical personnel. Vaccine receivers have to report their true illness history, allergy or present conditions while doctors or nurses should cancel the process if any physical problem that could be worsened by vaccine is detected, a few cases of which have already been witnessed by us in Nantong vaccination venue.
let’s pay magnificent honor to this nurse who is fighting exhausted in the frontline to vaccinate citizens one after another all day long. The featured man hired by city management and enforcement worked in train station and airport for months last year from morning all the way to 2 a.m. next day to prevent suspicious virus carrier from entering Nantong but their due wages haven’t been paid yet. Now he is dispatched again to serve the undertaking of vaccination. Tired, but for good of our Nantong people, he holds on!
Together we will and we can embrace back our colorful lives, driving off the evil virus by shared efforts.
